INVITATION OF COMMENTS FROM THE GENERAL PUBLIC ON THE GAMBIA A2/A5 ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT STATEMENT BY FAR GAMBIA LIMITED
FAR GAMBIA Limited is an independent oil and gas exploration and development company with extensive experience of offshore drilling in West and East Africa and Australia, hereafter referred to as the Operator. TheOperator has a license to undertake exploration/ drilling within the offshore of The Gambia.
In accordance with the provisions of the National Environment Management Act, 1994 and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Regulations 2014, FAR GAMBIA Ltd has concluded an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) study within the offshore of The Gambia which has been reviewed by the EIA Technical Working Group. The findings of the ESIA are reported in an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).
In line with the provisions of Part IV of the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations 2014, the general public is being provided access to the document via the National Environment Agency (NEA) website for viewing of the executive summaryof the EIS, and by physical attendance at the NEA office for viewing of a hard copy version of the EIS. Comments concerning the ESIA can be directed to the NEA within 7 working days of posting the executive summary on the following Web sites.

The NEA will stop receiving questions/comments pertaining to the EIS by Tuesday 13th February, 2018.
